Idaho White Water Rafting and Float Trips on the Famous Salmon River
Rawhide Outfitters offers a variety of white water rafting and float trips:
- Tranquil morning or evening smooth scenic float with abundant beautiful scenery and wildlife to view and photograph along the way with drink and homemade snacks provided
- One day white water rafting trip includes floating a 13 mile section of the Salmon River 17 miles west of North Fork, where it flows through a beautiful canyon forming some great rapids! Enoy a barbecued lunch prepared for you along the river's edge.
- Two day and 3 day white water rafting trips include floating 30 to 47 miles of adventurous rapids, viewing some of the most awesome scenery that Idaho has to offer. We camp on a secluded and beautiful island. We provide all camping gear and delicious hearty Dutch oven style meals. Some fishing can also be done on these trips.
Gold Mine Tours are included in our 1, 2 and 3 day rafting trips. This section of the river is rich in history as gold was discovered in the late 1880's. This tour enhances the whole rafting experience and is very much enjoyed by all our guests.
Idaho Salmon Fishing, Trout Fishing, Steelhead Fishing Trips
Rawhide Outfitters' fishing guides offer exciting guided fishing trips. Our professional guides fish for steelhead, salmon, rainbow trout and cutthroat trout, catering to the novice as well as the experienced fishermen. We are licensed on the S-3,4 and 5 sections of the Salmon River, over 130 miles in all, starting at the town of Challis and ending "down river" at Corn Creek.
